Music Class

Hello Everyone, 

 

Welcome to 5-8 grade music class! My name is Mr. Reichmeier. I moved to the Winston-Salem area just last year, and this is my first year at  ABS. I am really excited to meet all of you, to explore a variety of musical situations. Each grade level will have unique opportunities for growth as musicians including instrumental music, singing, composition, music appreciation, and music technology. I am a professional percussionist in both jazz and symphonic settings. I have a passion for world music, and we will be exploring traditions from around the world. I have taught at the collegiate, high school, and middle school levels. I have two young daughters who are both students at ABS this year. I love to make time for playing music, and riding various sorts of bikes around the Winston-Salem area. See you all very soon!
