Welcome!

I am looking forward to meeting all of you in just a few weeks and learning about each of you! For now, here is a little bit about me: I have been teaching in the public school system for over 15 years with experience in third grade, first grade, and Kindergarten. I found that my natural abilities and deepest passions are most energized when working in kindergarten and feel very grateful to be able to teach kindergarten at ABS South!  I live in the Sunnyside neighborhood with my husband and three children.  Ms.Hadera and I feel kindergarten is a year that should be full of joy and discovery emotionally, academically, and relationally. We believe that children learn best when surrounded by an inviting and comfortable environment that provides countless opportunities to explore and experience materials in familiar and new ways. We anticipate a beautiful year ahead!
