Hello! I'm Laura Lynne Frazier. This is my 11h year teaching 5th grade at ABS. I'm so excited to be working with my team Monique Johnson and Adam Tate as we begin this new year.
When I'm not in the classroom, I love to read, hike, bike, travel, garden (herbs, shade plants and flowers only!), sing, and practice my flute (not nearly often enough!). I'm blessed to have two of my adult children living in Winston Salem, while my oldest is in CA with his wife and my three grandchildren!
Born in Kentucky, I have lived in 8 states and 9 cities. Of course, Winston Salem has become my favorite place with its close proximity to the mountains and the beach, as well as my extended family in East Tennessee. It is also the home of The Arts Based School! I'm honored to teach here with our wonderful staff full of vibrant, thoughtful, creative, and knowledgeable individuals who inspire me on a daily basis.
