About Mrs. Cruz
Hello! My name is Heather Cruz, I am so excited to kick off my 11th year teaching here at ABS! I grew up in South Florida and graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a minor in ESOL education. I have two wonderful kiddos Noah (11) and Amelia (5) who is eager to join her brother and I at ABS this year for kindergarten. My husband and I love music and enjoy going to see live concerts. I enjoy painting, DIY projects, crafts and some gardening. My favorite season is fall and I love a good cup of coffee! I am patient, flexible and open-minded. I encourage my students to ask questions, take risks and overcome the fear of making mistakes. I am so excited to work together this year!
