Ms. Trish / Visual Arts K-4
I am thrilled to start my 12th year teaching at the Arts-Based School. Many of you know me from 1st grade or Kindergarten. My current home is the K-4 Art Room as the Visual Arts Specialist! As a licensed K-6 educator, I am experienced with curriculum and content. I have obtained my Master's Degree in Teaching, where I focused on Visual Literacy and how making sense of what we see, each and every day, is a skill of massive importance. I am passionate about arts integration, and I can't wait to inspire incredible artistic experiences with our students. Everyone is an artist, and the art room is the place to grow that creativity. Along with being a mixed-media, abstract artist, I am an avid reader and love to be outside experiencing the natural world. I have two daughters who are both ABS alumni. You will hear many stories of my daughters, my "favorite books," of which the list is endless, and stories about my three dogs, three cats, and the horses I ride in my spare time.
