At ABS, we are extremely proud of our commitment to our students. We are dedicated to creating an environment that cultivates and nourishes lifelong learners. Although we teach the genre of test-taking, we are committed to a more holistic approach to teaching and learning. Although our students do very well on standardized tests, there are multiple components of our curriculum and instruction that are not reflected on state tests.

The goal of the North Carolina Read to Achieve program is to ensure that every student reads at grade level by the end of third grade.
