A little about ME!

Hello and welcome to my class. I am Ms. Stewart. I have been shaping young minds for over 10 years, and I bring that same energy and dedication to my 4th-grade classroom every day. I believe that learning happens best in a classroom built on curiosity, kindness, and a genuine love of discovery, and I work hard to make sure every student feels seen, supported, and excited to grow.

Outside the classroom, I am happiest exploring new places — I am always planning my next adventure and love bringing back stories (and sometimes souvenirs!) to share with my students. But some of my favorite moments are spent at home with my soon-to-be husband and 4 dogs. My daughter is heading off to start her junior year at Western Carolina University, where she is studying Forensic Science and Chemistry.

With a decade of experience, a passion for travel, and a heart for teaching, I am excited to make this a wonderful year of learning and growth for every student in my class.
