Welcome to Mrs.Bohrer's Music Class!

 

 

My name is Aliyah Bohrer and I am so excited to be teaching k-5 music at the Arts Based School South Campus! I have taught elementary music for the past several years and can confidently say that this is my true passion in life. I thoroughly enjoy helping students grow into confident, creative thinkers who can apply these skills in all areas of their lives. I began playing violin as a child and continued throughout my time in college at The University of Mary Washington in Virginia. As an instrumentalist, I picked up other skills along the way such as piano, guitar, and ukulele. With additional experience in composing music and directing musicals, I love giving students opportunities to create and perform. 

 

I believe that every child has the ability to create music, and I am committed to supporting their development as young musicians. My goal is to foster a joyful, creative, and inclusive environment where students can express themselves freely. As your child's music teacher, I am dedicated to supporting their progress and helping them reach their full potential as musicians.
