Meet Your Teacher

Hello, and welcome! My name is Ms. Cait, and I am so excited to be your child's second-grade teacher!

This is my fifth year teaching at our wonderful arts-based school, and I truly believe that every child learns best when creativity, curiosity, and kindness are encouraged each day. My goal is to create a classroom where students feel safe, inspired, and excited to learn.

When I'm not in the classroom, you'll usually find me spending time with my two amazing children and my five very spoiled cats! I also enjoy expressing my creativity through painting and crocheting, which remind me that learning often happens through creating, experimenting, and having fun.

In our classroom, we will:

• 📚 Build confidence as readers, writers, mathematicians, and problem-solvers.
• 🤝 Practice kindness, responsibility, and respect.
• 🌟 Celebrate each student's unique talents and growth.

I believe every child has something special to offer, and I can't wait to watch each student grow academically, socially, and creatively throughout the year.
