About Ms. Mac: I graduated from Wake Forest University in 2006 and have been teaching at Arts Based ever since (you can do the math :)

I earned my National Board Certification in 2013 and my masters from UNCG in 2015. I jumped from elementary to middle school in 2019 and I love it! When not teaching or reading, I enjoy hiking, barre, and attending my kids' various sporting events. I would love to swap book recommendations anytime. Happy reading!
