Ashley Brady - 3rd Grade Teacher

Welcome to third grade at ABS! This is a big year for students and a time where their independence really blossoms! The growth in them from the beginning to the end of the year is tremendous. Third graders see the world through a unique lens and have so much fun exploring the world around them. It is a joy to get to experience learning and growing with them.

 

This is my third year teaching third grade at ABS I am loving it. My family and I adore ABS and have been a part of this amazing community for several years. My husband, Ryan, and I have four children. Our youngest two attend school here; Harli is in 5th grade, Taryn is in 7th grade. Our recent ABS grad, Rohen, is in 9th grade at Atkins High School. Cade, our oldest kiddo, is a sophomore at NC State University. We also have a sweet, energetic dog named Dixie. I spent most of my adulthood as a stay-at-home mom with my rowdy crew. I was excited to go back to school and earn my Bachelors degree in Teaching Schools and Societies from Salem College in 2020. I was already working at ABS in various capacities and have been so fortunate to be able to stay in this incredible environment!

 

In my time away from school, I love all things beachy, visiting the mountains, and camping with my family. I love to sing, craft, and create! I'm always up for something fun, creative, and musical and I love to try new things. I'm looking forward to great adventures with you all this year!
